With Love on Mothering Sunday

On this special day, we remember the mothers and exceptional women who are no longer with us, but who have had a positive influence in our lives.
Whilst we will always miss them, they are still very much present in our daily lives.
We give thanks for them and for the love they showed us and the world.

My dear mum. I think of you with love every day and miss you more than words can say. You brought us up in the church so that we would always have the bedrock of faith in all the circumstances we might face in life. I am eternally grateful for this and the love and thoughtful ways in which you always cared for me. You were a supporter of Christian Aid and served faithfully in our church for many years.
