With Love on Mothering Sunday

On this special day, we remember the mothers and exceptional women who are no longer with us, but who have had a positive influence in our lives.
Whilst we will always miss them, they are still very much present in our daily lives.
We give thanks for them and for the love they showed us and the world.

Mamma darling, Her family finances meant she could only attend school till age 14yrs . Yet she studied and worked on her own to finish school, then pay for her own training in shorthand typing followed by 2 years of full-time teacher’s training Finally becoming a Headmistress before being called to God aged 56 yrs and leaving a void in the lives of all of us her family in 1986. A wonderful kind person, she was an inspiration to others and forever to me.
